Adventurers is a christian activity-based program for children aged four to nine years old, run by volunteers. It is a family-based program and is designed to support parents/caregivers and provide Bible-based learning and new skills for children. Your children will learn interesting topics through the Adventurer year and gain skills that they can remember for a long time. There is an opportunity for your child to interact with others their age, go on outings, complete “Awards” which are topics on nature, health and fitness, safety and the Bible. I would encourage you as their caregiver to come along and join in with your child. Our leaders are a credit to our organisation and develop healthy friendships with your child throughout the year.

All volunteers involved in a Club are required to follow safety procedures such as police checks and provide a safe place for children. The Adventurer Club is organised by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, but joining a Club and participation is open to everyone.

A regular club meeting may include a club flag, parade and uniforms. The Adventurer Pledge and Law is recited. Many Clubs sing an Adventurer Song. As it is a Christian program, prayer and worship are an essential part. Then it is time for activity-based progressive age-appropriate classes. There is a series of six classes, one for each year from ages 4 to 9.

The 6 different group are:

Little Lambs (Pre-school aged, with older siblings also in Adventurers)

Grasshoppers (Kindy)

Busy Bee (yr1)

Sunbeams (yr2)

Builders (yr3)

Helping Hands (yr4)
